Given the price, actually functioning makes it pretty decent.

If you can live with adds on your lock screen than it is a pretty good deal.

The new hotness in cheap phones is the ZTE ZMAX Pro . $100 for a 6" 1080p Gorilla Glass 3 screen, Snapdragon 617, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, 3400 mAh battery, USB-C with quick charge, fingerprint reader, mostly-stock Marshmallow. Right now it’s a Metro PCS exclusive.

The previous version, the ZMAX 2, was sold in branded AT&T GoPhone and unlocked versions. I got the unlocked one for my fiancee last xmas and she’s been very happy with it. The only minor issue she’s had since then is for some reason it started dropping calls when she’d press the dial button, and she’d have to hit send again. But a quick backup of her data and factory reset fixed that.

Ordered the 4th Gen Moto G that Amazon was pushing along with this one. $113 and change after tax, no ads & offers. Should be arriving today!

Wouldn’t wanna. But for $60 and the option was no phone, I might give it a try.

Step 1: Root

Step 2: Clean bloatware/install new ROM.

Step 3: Laugh at those who paid more for their phones?
